For over 2,000 years, believers have spoken of the promised return of Jesus Christ. Yet, generation after generation has come and gone, each facing trials, wars, and disasters—believing their time was the end of days. Still, Jesus has not returned. Why? The Bible gives us a clear explanation: The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise... but is patient... not wanting anyone to perish (2 Peter 3:9). His delay is mercy—giving humanity time to turn from sin and believe in Him. But that window is rapidly closing.
2. Prophecies Still Waiting to Be Fulfilled
One key reason Jesus has not returned is that certain biblical prophecies must first be fulfilled. From the rebirth of Israel as a nation (Ezekiel 37:21-22), to the rise of global deception, increased lawlessness, wars, famines, and natural disasters, many prophecies are unfolding in our time. But a few still remain.
If you believe in a pre-trib rapture, where you might not be here for some of the final prophecies, Jesus’ final return will see these prophecies come to pass.
• And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Matthew 24:14
• A global one-world government and economy — Revelation 13:16–17 says no one will be able to buy or sell without the “mark of the beast.”
• A third temple in Jerusalem — Bible prophecy implies a rebuilt Jewish temple where the Antichrist will declare himself to be God (Matthew 24:15; 2 Thessalonians 2:4).
• Global persecution of Christians — A time when true believers will be hated and killed for their faith, this has been happeningalready. More on that topic here
3. Signs That We’re Closer Than Ever
Natural disasters are increasing at an alarming rate: floods, fires, earthquakes, and extreme heatwaves are ravaging the world. Jesus warned that these would be “the beginning of birth pains” (Matthew 24:7–8).
We’re also witnessing a rise in wars, economic instability, lawlessness, and moral confusion—all signs Jesus gave to mark the end times in Matthew 24. Technology like AI, digital currency, and biometric tracking is rapidly advancing, laying the groundwork for Revelation 13’s global control system.
4. The World Is Preparing for the Antichrist
While the world cries out for peace and unity, it is unknowingly preparing the way for the Antichrist. Many are turning away from truth and embracing lies that celebrate sin and mock God. Satan is working overtime to deceive the world—appearing as an angel of light to trick even the elect (2 Corinthians 11:14).
As governments promote digital IDs, surveillance, and centralized systems, we are watching the framework of a one-world system form—exactly as the Bible warned us would happen.
5. Why You Must Turn to Jesus Now
In many parts of the world, people still haven’t heard the true gospel. God’s heart is for the lost. Jesus said in Matthew 18:14, *“Your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.”* His mission has always been to seek and save the lost. The delay in His return is divine love—extending the chance of salvation to more people every day. .
Jesus is the only way to escape what’s coming. He died to save you from sin and eternal separation from God. By believing in Him, you receive forgiveness and eternal life (John 3:16; Romans 10:9).
Rejecting Jesus has eternal consequences. The Bible warns of a time when those who denied Him will face judgment and be cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:15; Matthew 25:46). More about Hell here.
To reject Jesus is to choose the path of destruction. He offers life, but you must receive it. Choose the narrow road, as He taught in Matthew 7:13–14.
7. Final Call: Don’t Wait Any Longer
Time is running out. The signs are all around us. The world is being prepared for the final events the Bible warned about. If you’ve been ignoring Jesus, mocking faith, or delaying your decision—this is your wake-up call.
Jesus is calling you now. Will you answer? Choose Him today while there is still time. Now is the day of salvation, tomorrow is promised to no one.
