why you must read the bible?
B33
The danger in not reading the Bible lies in the potential for misunderstanding or misrepresenting the nature of your faith. If you don't read you will end up creating your own God, and that is dangerous. Gods word is your armour against the enemies. The more you read it, you will begin to notice a change in you, but you must read it. If you are not going to read it, then at least watch The Bible Straight Up Series

Here are some key points to consider:
1.
Lack of Knowledge:
The Bible provides the foundation for understanding God’s character, His will, and His expectations for humanity. Without reading the Bible, a person may rely on incomplete or inaccurate information about God, leading to beliefs that are not grounded in scripture.
2.
Vulnerability to False Teachings:
Without a solid understanding of the Bible, people are more susceptible to false teachings or distortions of the faith. They may follow doctrines or leaders who present ideas that are contrary to biblical teachings, potentially leading them astray.
3.
Superficial Faith:
A faith that is not rooted in the Bible can become shallow or superficial. The Bible offers deep spiritual insights, guidance, and encouragement that help believers grow in their relationship with God. Without engaging with these scriptures, a person's faith might lack depth and substance.
4.
Misalignment with God's Will:
The Bible outlines God's will for how believers should live their lives, including moral and ethical guidelines. Without this guidance, individuals may unintentionally live in ways that are contrary to God's will, even if they believe in Him.
5.
Missed Opportunities for Spiritual Growth:
The Bible is a source of spiritual nourishment. Regular reading and study allow believers to grow in their understanding of God’s love, wisdom, and plan for humanity. Without this, they may miss out on the fullness of the relationship that God desires to have with them. In summary, while belief in God is fundamental, reading and understanding the Bible is crucial for developing a true, informed, and mature faith.
